“Being a Transracial Domestic Adoptee, I am drawn to understanding the roots of our stories of displacement, contextualizing our trauma within systems of domination. I seek to create spaces where we can openly unpack who we are, where we can be honest about how these systems live in our bodies, relationships, and communities. I seek to create spaces where we can play with who we are beyond oppressive systems, while being real about our capacities and limitations, thinking about both on an individual and collective level.”
“My practice has always been a form of healing, a form of connection to my wounds that I have less access to, a form of ritual, a form of accountability to the people around me and myself. Because of this, all of the work I do is very collaborative and vulnerable. The space created here is sacred.”
